From September 25, 2017 till September 28, 2017 the ITU World event “ITU Telecom World - 2017” takes place in Busan (the Republic of Korea). The Republic of Korea is one of the most technologically advanced countries in the world and the leader according to ITU Development Index 2016. Minister of Communications and Informatization Sergei Popkov and the leading representatives of government bodies and the ICT industries from all over the world gathered at the World event. In the course of “ITU Telecom World – 2017”, it is planned to discuss topical issues of the digital economy development and smart digital society building, support and promotion of the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, start-up companies, entrepreneurships and innovative centers as key stakeholders in the digital economy. At the Ministerial Roundtable Minister of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will present a report on the transformation of the ICT sector in Belarus.
