On July 20, under the leadership of First Deputy Minister of Communications and Informatization Pavel Tkach, a joint 8th and 9th meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group (IWG) was held to prepare a draft Position of the Communications Administration of the Republic of Belarus at the World Radiocommunication Conference 2023 of the International Telecommunication Union.
At the meeting of the IWG, detailed information was provided on the results of the Preparatory Meeting for WRC-23, as well as a draft Position of the Belarusian Communications Administration on WRC-23, finalized based on the results of international studies, was proposed and approved by the members of the working group.
In the future, the draft Position will be sent to the State Commission on Radio Frequencies under the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus in accordance with the established procedure.
The final 10th meeting of the WG is scheduled to be held in the first half of November immediately before the start of WRC-23.
