📌 The 49th meeting of Working Party 5D of Study Group 5 of the International Telecommunication Union Radiocommunication Sector (ITU-R WP 5D) is taking place in Kobe, Japan.
✔️ Specialists from all over the world, including experts from the state enterprise BelGIE, are taking part in the work.
Participants continue to discuss issues related to the development and harmonization of global standards for the International Mobile Telecommunications (IMT) systems, including the existing generations IMT-2000, IMT-Advanced and IMT-2020, as well as future developments within IMT-2030 and subsequent stages.
📄 Working Party 5D is responsible for the overall technical and operational aspects of the terrestrial component of IMT systems.
The meeting will last until July 3, 2025.
