The National (Belarusian) Postal Electronic System became prize winner in the annual PostEurop's (Association of European Public Postal Operators) Innovation Award Competition

In 2021 for the first time RUE «Belpochta» participated in the PostEurop’s Innovation Award Competition with project «The National Postal Electronic System» and awarded diploma for successful participation in the PostEurop Innovation Award 2021.

Purpose of Innovation Award is to foster innovation among PostEurop members in a consistent and continuous way, to demonstrate its advances and to exchange best practice in the field of innovations.

Each year PostEurop awarded diploma of PostEurop’s Innovation Award participants that has accomplished remarkable and absolutely new developments (solutions, services or products) with distinctive qualitative and quantitative benefits (cost reduction and/or accrued revenues and/or increase in customer satisfaction).

The National Postal Electronic System is a secure automated information system of the National Postal Operator of the Republic of Belarus that provides receipt, processing, storage and delivery (handing over) of postal items in electronic form (ordinary or registered), advice of postal items, advice of postal item receipt, messaging concerning the receipt, processing, storage and delivery (handing over) of postal items, and it also provides confirmations of their receipt and delivery (handing over).

As a result of the National Postal Electronic System implementation there is a gradual transition from ordinary and registered letter post to electronic/hybrid mail, the mail forwarding time is reduced, the “digital literacy” rate of the population is increasing and the involvement of population in economy digitalization is ensured.

The service is provided in online mode regardless of the user's geographic location; postal items are received in fast and convenient manner; the mail sending service is available 24/7.
