On September 18, 2025, during the 28th Congress of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) in Dubai, the Republic of Belarus confirmed its commitment to the development of international postal relations. Authorised delegates from UPU member countries participated in the signing of key UPU Acts adopted by Congress that will determine the future of the global postal sector. Among the documents signed – the fundamental Convention and General Regulations, as well as the Internal Regulations, Postal Payment Services Agreement and a number of Important Decisions of the Dubai Congress. These documents form the foundation for the operation of the entire international postal system, establishing uniform rules, standards, and development guidelines that help ensure the quality, reliability, and accessibility of international postal services for billions of people around the world. At the official signing ceremony held in Dubai, Svetlana Yurkevich, Director General of the The Republican Unitary Enterprise of Posts Belpochta, signed the UPU Acts on behalf of the Republic of Belarus. This event is an important step in strengthening the role of the designated operator of the Republic of Belarus as an active participant in the global postal community and confirms our readiness to meet the highest international standards.
