The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has launched a training seminar “Tools to support the formation of industry policy and regulation: ICT statistics and services quality assessment”.
Participants are representatives of government authorities responsible for formation of state statistics, operators, industry associations, universities, research and development centers.
The seminar will introduce ICT indicators collected by ITU through annual questionnaires, national approaches and methodologies for collecting data in other countries of the region/world, and an exchange of practical experience in collection, analysis and dissemination of telecommunication/ICT statistics.
It is to be noted that the Republic of Belarus holds leading positions in the CIS on the completeness and quality of statistics provided in this area. A representative of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization has been invited to the seminar as an ITU expert from Belarus.
The seminar will be held from March 27 to 28, 2025 in Yerevan, Republic of Armenia.
