Today in Tianjin (China), the most important China-SCO 2025 Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Forum, organized by the National Development and Reform Commission jointly with the People's Government of Tianjin opened.
The forum's main topic, "China's intelligence for the benefit of the SCO," brings together leaders of SCO member states to discuss new ways to strengthen international cooperation in the field of AI.
The Belarusian delegation includes Deputy Minister of Communications and Informatization Tatstsyana Ruskevich and Director of OJSC Giprosvyaz Anton Alekseev.
In her speech, Tatyana Ruskevich shared the Republic of Belarus’s view on the role of the state in the formation of a transparent and responsible ecosystem of solutions based on artificial intelligence within the framework of the Closed Dialogue on AI Policy.
Today, we face a common task – to form a fair and sustainable architecture for the development of artificial intelligence that meets the interests of our states and peoples. In the context of global technological competition, it is extremely important that the SCO remains a support for member countries in promoting the principles of digital sovereignty, technological equality and respect for national identity.
Also, as part of the thematic dialogue of the second track of the Forum, Anton Alekseev made a presentation on the topic “Artificial intelligence for expanding technological access and reducing the digital divide.”
Participation in such events is an important step towards the development of innovative technologies and strengthening international ties!
