The Regional Regulatory Roundtable and Regional Economic Dialogue for the CIS Region, which will be held in a virtual format on 15 and 16 June 2021. This event is part of a series events leading up to the 21st Global Symposium for Regulators, which will take place in virtual format from June 21-25, 2021, under the general theme “Regulation for Digital Transformation: Accelerate the provision of connectivity, access and use for all ". The goal of the Regional Regulatory Roundtable is to exchange views and experiences in the field of telecommunication / ICT regulation in the context of digital transformation. The Regional Roundtable will present the relevant regulatory tools of the ITU Telecommunication Development Bureau, including the recently published Digital Regulation Handbook in Russian, as well as discuss the approach of the countries of the region to telecommunication / ICT regulation. The aim of the Regional Economic Dialogue is to provide detailed information on the work of ITU-D Study Group 1 on economic policy (Question 4/1 “Economic policies and methods for determining the cost of services for national telecommunication / ICT networks, including next generation networks”). The Regional Economic Dialogue will also provide an overview of the BDT publications on economics and finance in the field of telecommunications / ICTs with regard to their applicability to countries in the region. https://www.itu.int PDF
